Sandra Arias is a multifaceted professional whose journey reflects her dedication to music and leadership. Her love for music ignited at nine in her elementary school orchestra, a passion that has since blossomed into a lifelong commitment. This early connection to music has driven her to excel in various leadership roles, where she advocates for others in the mariachi community.
As a founding member of Mariachi Bonitas, Sandra’s musical and creative talents have been featured on platforms like ABC News, Univision, and the Kelly Clarkson Show. She has accompanied various artists, including Los Tigres del Norte, Ana Gabriel, and Lupita Infante. Her deep-rooted commitment to music and community is evident in every performance and collaboration, fostering a sense of connection and shared purpose.
Academically, Sandra holds a Bachelor of Science in Community and Regional Development, a Bachelor of Arts in Chicano Studies, and a Minor in Music from the University of California, Davis. She also earned a Master’s in Leadership in Organizational Innovation and Change. Throughout her master’s program, Sandra was profoundly inspired by the women she worked alongside, who shared their stories and aspirations, igniting her passion for empowering others.
Inspired by the powerful movement of artist-led initiatives, Sandra founded her organization to empower musicians and artists within the community. She envisions a nurturing platform where individuals can embrace innovation and leadership, breaking through barriers in a traditionally challenging industry.
