For too long, musicians have been told that being an artist and being a leader are different paths. I don’t believe that.

I built this space because I kept having the same conversation over and over — with fellow musicians, with students, with people trying to figure out how to make their passion sustainable and meaningful. I thought: what if there were a place where we could have it all together?

I’ve spent years studying organizational learning, leadership development, and what makes communities thrive — all while performing, recording, and advocating for musicians in the mariachi community. What I keep finding is that the best leaders I know learned most of what they know from music.
